HOUSING ASSISTANCE

Open Arms Housing provides permanent housing and supportive services to women and families experiencing chronic homelessness to ensure housing stabilization, self-sufficiency, and overall better quality of life.

Arms of Hope is a not-for-profit Christian care organization that assists children and single-mother families in need.
GRACE is a Grapevine, Texas based nonprofit relief agency that provides food, clothing, financial assistance, and other vital necessities to people who are struggling with a limited income or recent emergency. The philosophy of GRACE is that encouraging self-sufficiency will, in turn, encourage community cohesiveness. Compassion and assistance are offered as a response to God’s grace by local churches in partnership with municipalities, businesses, civic organizations, and individuals.
Shiloh Place is a ministry that comes alongside and deeply invests in each individual, providing them with the education and skills needed to end the cycle of poverty for their family for generations to come.
The Gatehouse is a supportive living community where women — single or with children — in crisis receive safe refuge, ample time, practical resources and healthy relationships to discover new paths for permanent, positive change.
SHELTERS
Through strength-based partnership, ACH Child and Family Services brings resources and skills to children and families struggling with life’s challenges. They develop solutions that create safety, hope, love and the capacity to thrive.

Samaritan House provides supportive services for individuals and families who are affected by major health conditions, substance abuse issues, and mental illness; and who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness.
The Family Place empowers victims of family violence by providing safe housing, counseling and skills that create independence while building community engagement and advocating for social change to stop family violence.
The Salvation Army enables God-powered transformations across Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis and Tarrant Counties. The Family Life Center provides a shelter designed to take families from being homeless to being stable and productive members of society. It is one of the few shelters in the area where families are able to live together as they strive to get back on their feet. Activities within the Family Life Center include the job skills, parenting classes, finance classes, and more.
Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County is dedicated to providing love, hope, respect and a new beginning for the homeless. They strive to end homelessness one person at time. They offer programs for homeless individuals to maximize their potential by developing the skills needed to become independent, productive community members.
CHILDCARE RESOURCES

The ChildCareGroup manages the Child Care Assistance (CCA) program, a child care subsidy program, which provides qualified families with child care scholarships to offset the high cost of child care so that parents can go to work or attend school or job training. Eligible families can seek financial support for care for their children from birth to age 12.

City of Dallas Childcare Assistance provides childcare subsidies to parents who meet eligibility requirements, including residing in the city of Dallas, choosing a childcare facility in Dallas, having legal custody of the enrolled child, and having the gross income of all adults meet financial limits.

PREGNANCY RESOURCES
The Community Enrichment Center’s (CEC) mission is to restore hope, share God’s love and change lives in our community. The CEC is a faith-based non-profit serving Tarrant County families in crisis by providing the resources, tools and encouragement these families need to improve their lives and become self-sufficient.
Embrace Grace is a non-profit organization formed for the purpose of providing emotional, practical and spiritual support for single, young women who find themselves in an unintended pregnancy. The primary goal of Embrace Grace is to empower churches across the nation to be a safe and non-judging place for the girls to run to when they find out they are pregnant, instead of the last place they are welcomed because of shame and guilt.
Their vision is for every girl with an unplanned pregnancy to have a church to go to for spiritual, emotional and physical support. Their mission is to inspire and equip the church to love on single and pregnant young women and their families.
ADOPTION
Christian Homes & Family Services change lives and build Christian families through maternity, foster care and adoption services. For more than 50 years, Christian Homes has provided residential and community-based care for young women with unplanned pregnancies. Most often, the care culminates in the Agency finding loving parents to adopt their precious babies.
