Ashley HomeStore Partners with Mercy House
Mercy House is honored to be selected as one of two charities to receive over $50,000 in furniture from Ashley HomeStore as part of their Community Partnership Event.
When Ashley HomeStore launched their new Baby and Kids line of furniture, they selected Mercy House as one of two charities to donate furniture to once the launch was complete. We’re incredibly grateful for this gift that will help the women and babies we serve.
“In partnership with Mercy House and Brighter Tomorrows, Ashley HomeStore has donated over $50,000 in nursery, toddler and youth furniture to two Dallas-based shelters that serve as safe harbors for expecting mothers fleeing domestic abuse and other crises. On Saturday, volunteers with the two organizations picked up truckloads of cribs, youth beds, dressers & accessories from Ashley HomeStore’s newest category, Ashley Baby & Kids.”
“Mercy House assists women facing an unplanned pregnancy with a safe home, counseling, education, life skills training and mentoring programs. The furniture will be used in both their current facility and in a second shelter they hope to open soon.”
